TeleScout BASIC is the ideal least cost router for private and business ISDN users with one ISDN line and an existing telephone system. It is also suitable for the internal S0 port.
For the installation TeleScout BASIC just has to be plugged between multi terminal access and terminal equipment i.e. end devices (point-to-multi-point connection) and you're ready to start saving! Voice prompts inform you about all relevant settings.
Connection requirements:
Euro-ISDN (DSS1) line, multi terminal access; TeleScout BASIC is not suitable for system access (point-to-point connection).

Unlike TeleScout BASIC TeleScout COMFORT can also be used for point-to-point connection (system access). The router provides detailed tariff information of all activated call providers.
Depending on the type of end device customers are being shown the actual amount of their saving even during their phone call. On top of that, TeleScout COMFORT learns the phone behaviour of its users by means of an intelligent technology, thereby permitting an even further optimised call provider and tariff rate selection.
